Icona Bruciata is a conceptual artwork that transforms the iconic dollar sign into a raw statement. Made from scorched wood and mounted on a textured, mineral-like surface, the piece strips the symbol of its superficial glamour, exposing its underlying weight, permanence, and contradiction.

Framed by a subtle red outline and surrounded by roughness, the black dollar no longer shines — it stands as a scar. The work confronts our relationship with money, value, and what we choose to venerate.
