Does art have limits? Il Sorriso del Tempo challenges this question. Inspired by Maurizio Cattelan’s famous Comedian, I created a million-euro clock that is more than just a timepiece – it’s a statement, a concept, and a provocation all in one.

Each banana symbolizes the passage of time, and one of them is real – you can replace it, continuing the interactive nature of the piece. However, if you prefer a permanent display, an extra artificial banana is included, allowing you to keep the clock completely static without the need for replacements.

Every time you look at this clock to check the time, a smile will appear on your face – and with that, your day will become brighter.
